About Toolslay
200+ free online tools for PDFs, images, text, calculators, and developers. We build them so you can finish a small job in your browser without an account or an install.
Why we built Toolslay
Toolslay started with a common frustration. Many free tools ask you to sign up, hide the useful options behind a paywall, or bury the page under pop ups. A simple job such as resizing a photo or checking a loan payment turns into a ten minute detour. We built Toolslay to give people the plain, working version instead.
Today the site holds 200+ free online tools in 9 categories. You can convert and compress files, count words, format code, work out loans and calories, generate passwords, and plan trips. Each tool does one job, shows its result on the same page, and explains the idea behind it so you know what the numbers mean.
Most tools process what you enter right in your browser, so your files and text do not have to travel to our servers. A few tools reach an outside service to do their job. The VIN Decoder queries a U.S. government vehicle database, the Currency Converter loads live exchange rates, and the Snow Day Predictor looks up weather data. We name them here so you know which ones they are.
We check each tool before it goes live. Calculators get tested against worked examples and published formulas, and every page explains how to use the tool and answers the questions people ask most. When a reader reports a mistake or a rule changes, we fix the page and update the explanation.

Private where possible
Most tools run in your browser, so your files and text stay on your device. The few that use an outside service are named on this page.
Fast, on purpose
No upload queue and no waiting room. Browser based tools respond as fast as your own device can work.
Actually free
No account, no watermark, and no premium tier hiding the best features behind a paywall.
Built from real requests
We add tools based on what people search for and ask us, not a fixed roadmap.
Quality
How we build and check our tools
A tool is only useful when you can trust the answer. This is how we keep the pages accurate.
Checked against real examples
We test calculators with worked examples and published formulas, then explain the method on the page so you can follow the math.
Explained in plain language
Each tool page covers what the tool does, how to use it, and the questions people ask most, without jargon.
Fixed when something is wrong
If you report a bug or a wrong result, we look into it and update the tool or the explanation.
Who runs Toolslay
Toolslay is built and maintained by Shah Mir Amir, a web developer based in Karachi, Pakistan. He designs the pages, writes the tools in JavaScript, and reads the messages that arrive through the contact page.
How Toolslay pays for itself
Toolslay is free to use and has no paid tier. To cover hosting and development, we show advertising from Google AdSense on some pages. Ads never replace a tool or hide its result, and we do not sell your personal information.
Accuracy and limits
Our calculators and checkers give estimates for planning and learning. Results about health, money, pets, pregnancy, or legal topics are not medical, financial, or professional advice. Check important numbers with a qualified person or an official source.

Frequently asked questions
What is Toolslay?
Toolslay is a collection of 200+ free online tools for PDFs, images, video, text, calculators, generators, and developers. Each tool does one job on a single page, so you can convert a file, run a calculation, or clean up text without installing software.
Is Toolslay really free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use, with no account, no watermark, and no daily limit. We pay for hosting and development through advertising, not through a paid plan, so the tools stay fully available to everyone.
Do I need an account to use the tools?
No. You open a tool and start using it. We do not ask you to register, verify an email address, or log in. Every tool opens straight away, on a phone, a tablet, or a computer, so you can finish the job in a few clicks.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
Most tools process your input in your browser, so files and text stay on your device. A few tools use an outside service, such as the VIN Decoder, Currency Converter, and Snow Day Predictor, which need public data to answer. The story above names a few examples.
How does Toolslay make money?
We show advertising from Google AdSense on some pages. That income covers hosting, domain costs, and the time we spend building new tools. We keep ads separate from results, so an advertisement never replaces or hides what a tool produces.
Who builds and maintains Toolslay?
Shah Mir Amir, a web developer based in Karachi, Pakistan, builds and maintains the site. He writes the tools in JavaScript, tests them, and replies to feedback sent through the contact page, so every message reaches the person who can fix the issue.
How accurate are the calculators?
Calculators use standard formulas and published rules, and we test them with worked examples. They still give estimates, because real situations vary. For health, money, or legal decisions, confirm the result with a professional or an official source before you act.
How do I suggest a tool or report a mistake?
Use the contact page and tell us which tool you mean and what you saw or what you want to see. We read every message. Bug reports and wrong results get checked first, and tool ideas that many people ask for move up our list.
Missing a tool, or found a mistake?
Tell us what you need. We read every message and use it to decide what to build and fix next.
