Toolslay

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

1. Overview

Toolslay ("we", "us") provides free online tools at https://toolslay.com. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the site and how it is used.

2. Tool data and your device

Most tools on Toolslay run in your browser. Files and text you enter into them (images, PDFs, JSON, generated passwords and so on) are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers. A few tools call an outside service to do their job, for example live exchange rates, weather and location lookups, a VIN lookup, a word list, or the speech service built into Chrome and Edge. Those tools send what the lookup needs, and each tool page says so. Some tools also save settings or history in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device.

3. Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data is anonymized and is not linked to individually identifiable information.

5. Blog comments and contact form

If you contact us through the contact form, we use the information you provide (name, email, topic, message and the optional page address) only to respond to your inquiry. The form passes your message to Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which delivers it to our inbox. If you email us directly, your email provider handles the message. We do not sell your information, and contacting us does not add you to any mailing list.

6. Children's privacy

Toolslay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
